As a kid, I was absolutely obsessed with honey mustard! I would put it on chicken, dip French fries in it, use honey mustard dressing on my salads… the list goes on.
While I still love honey mustard, I find that SO many condiment brands add loads of refined sugars and preservatives to their products, which I think is completely unnecessary! So… why not make it myself?
The best way to know what’s going into your food is to make it fresh in your own kitchen! That’s exactly what I did for my homemade chipotle honey mustard recipe!
Made with only 5 wholesome ingredients, this honey mustard has the perfect balance of sweetness, tanginess and a little bit of a kick from the chipotle and smoked paprika! The best part? This recipe takes less than 5 minutes to make!
While this dipping sauce was originally created to be paired with my Sesame Crusted Sweet Potato Fries Recipe, it would also be great brushed on top of grilled chicken, shrimp or salmon, put on-top of a veggie burger or as a side dip on a festive cheese & cracker board!
